Term 4

It is now term 4, the last term of the year.
On week 2 & 3, we had swimming lessons. It was mostly revision, and I ended up in a different group (I was ment to be in group 4, but I ended up in group 5!!!).

Then came my birthday, in October.
I've also started going for my Black belt!!!!!!!

Concert

For the last few weeks, our school has been practicing our concert. Our themeis Cinderella, and our grade is doing the song, Tempreature, and my brother is doing High hopes.

Belt tests

At Karatie, I've found out that soon I will be going for my black belt! Yesterday, I had a test. I am also having one today, and on Tuesday.

Guitar lessons

At the start of the term, some people in the class room went to guitar lessons.
So far, I've learnt alot of songs. My favourites are: Smoke on the water (riff), Eye of the tiger (riff), When The Saints Go Marching In, The Simpsons (theme) and Funky Town (riff).

Chess Tornament

Today, I got to go to a chess tornament held at a different school. We played aganst 7 people each. I won 4/7 rounds, but the best person in our team had a score of 6/7.

Games Online

Every time I get to play on our notebook. I like to play online, I sometimes play Club penguin or Battle on. If I can't play online, I play Little fighter 2 or Lego starwars 2.

Camp- Day three

On day three of camp, my group got to go on the Initive course and the trampolines. I liked the trampolines, because I got to go really high.
On the bus homeward, it got a bit loud, and I couldn't really hear much of what the person sitting next to me was saying.

Camp- Day two

On the second day of camp, we continued with the rotation activites, so on day three, we only had to do two more rotations. We did:

Flying Fox
Archery

Before dinner, we started watching the movie, The Incredibles. Once we had finished dinner, we had a disco. I didn't really do much at the disco, because I wanted to go to bed.

Camp- Day one

On Wednesday the 5th of the 4th 06, the grades in the area I was in got to go to camp. The camp's name was Wombat Corner, and it was at Emrald. Before we could go to Wombat corner, we all had to help load the bus. So we could get to camp on time, we had to get to school at 8:30 in the morning. Once we got there, we got sorted into our groups, and showed our group leader our hat and raincoat. Five minutes later, we loaded the bus andwent to the meeting area.
After a teacher had said a few things, we got to take our luggage and sort out our cabins. I was in cabin number 6 out of 12 cabins. Nearly everyone in my cabin went on the top bunk(we had bunk beds). Once we were finished, we hwd the lunch that we brought from home.
When we had finished eating, we went to our first rotation activity. The group I was in did the low ropes course. The low ropes course was alot like an obsticle course. Once we had finished the low ropes course, we got to play with a parachute. After afternoon tea, it was raining, so we got to play in the games room and the bush hut. Once it was 5:00, we had a shower and got into our pajamas, so we could have fish and chips for dinner. Once we were all done, we grabbed our torches and went for a night-walk. While we were on the night-walk, we saw a yabby, a cafe, a lake-cleaner and a sort of stadium shaped place, where people went stargasing, but because it was cloudy, we couldn't stargase.

Oakliegh Festival

Yesterday, my family went to the Oakliegh festival. I got to go on a:

enormous inflatable slide
A wild merry-go-round
The playground
some four person shoes

I really enjoyed going on the merry-go-round, and the enormous slide, because the merry-go-round went really fast, and the slide was really big.
I got to eat a hot-dog, and drink some fizzy drink.

XMA

Today I had to do Karate, as usual, but at 1:00 I got to do an extreme martial arts (XMA) class, for 2 hours. I learnt how to partly do a handstand, and how to do a karta.
When we got home, I played on the computer, and on a laptop. I played Warning Forever and LEGO Starwars: The video game. We are having Fish and chips for dinner.

The Simpsons and Futrama

I've noticed that Ten's The Simpsons , is very popular, along with Futurama. The simpsons is on
about every day at six PM (not Fridays, or weekends), and Futurama on weekdays at 7:00. My favorite is Futurama.

School holidays

On the 10th of March, it was the last day of school. My teacher handed out school work that we had finished that term. at school, I enjoyed reading a Just kidding magazine.

Siege of Vienna

On Sunday night, I watched a documentary called the Siege of Vienna. It was about how the Turks planned to plant a bomb underneath Vienna and blow it up, and when the bomb blew up, the Turks would invade Vienna and kill everyone. The Viennese also had help coming from behind the Turks advancing army.
